LEGAL & MINOR DATA PROTECTION

Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 2026 | Rising Stars League (RSL) International

1. Overview & Commitment to Youth Privacy

Rising Stars League ("RSL", "we", "our", or "us") operates the website https://risingstarsleague.com. We are deeply committed to protecting the privacy of Under-17 cricket players, parents, legal guardians, coaches, and academy directors who participate in our international tournament series in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

2. Minor Protection & Parental Consent (COPPA / GDPR-K / PDPB)

Because our tournament specifically serves Under-17 athletes, we strictly enforce youth protection standards compliant with international regulations:

  • Parental Consent: Personal registration data for players under 18 must be submitted or authorized by a parent, legal guardian, or registered team manager.
  • Verification: Date of birth proof (birth certificate or passport) is collected solely for age eligibility verification and discarded/encrypted securely post-tournament.
  • No Data Commercialization: We never sell, rent, or lease minor players' personal data or contact details to third-party advertisers.

3. Photography, Broadcast & Media Release

RSL matches are live-streamed, photographed, and highlighted for global broadcasting, scout analysis, and news coverage. Registered academies and parent guardians sign an explicit media authorization release during final squad enrollment, granting RSL permission to display match footage and player statistics on our official platforms.

4. Data Retention & Contact Rights

You have the right to inspect, update, or request the deletion of your personal or minor child's registration data at any time by contacting our Privacy Officer at privacy@risingstarsleague.com.
